International Day of People with Disability

Support Inclusion This International Day of People with Disability

This International Day of People with Disability (3 December), we’re raising $500 for Guide Dogs Victoria — an organisation that empowers people with low vision or blindness to live full, independent lives.

We’d love your support to help us reach our goal! Every dollar counts toward creating a more inclusive and accessible community for all.

What is International Day of People with Disability?

International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is a United Nations–observed day, recognised globally on 3 December each year. Its goal is to increase awareness, understanding, and acceptance of the 5.5 million Australians living with disability — that’s 1 in 5 people.

Supported by the Australian Government, IDPwD aligns with Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021–2031 and encourages everyone — individuals, schools, organisations, and communities — to work together to remove barriers and celebrate diversity.
